Student bring: hard board to attach paper to, black eraser, and optional Tombow Mono Zero round eraser (available at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and online art supply retailers like DICK Blick and Jerry's Artarama.
Class Details: This project is suitable for beginners in colored pencils. It is a simple design to enable you to obtain the "feel" of colored pencils, plus you can take home a beautiful Yellow Lily flower drawing. You will learn how complementary colors, like mixing purple and yellow, can create lovely realistic depth showing the contours of a delicate flower. I will provide Mi-Tientes paper, which is fun to layer on the properties of the colored pencils.
This is one of two required classes prior to upcoming PORTRAIT workshops.
